Wrapping the Envelope: ETICS Insulation Systems

The "Cold Bridge" is the enemy of energy efficiency. Concrete beams transfer cold directly into the apartment. The only way to stop it is to wrap the entire building in a thermal blanket (ETICS).

The ZNR Thermal System

Applying polystyrene (EPS/XPS) to a facade requires a specialized adhesive-plaster combination. Normal cement will crack due to the thermal movement of the plastic boards.

Step 1: The Adhesive (ZNR Polibond)

A polymer-modified cement specifically designed to stick hydrophobic foam boards to masonry.

Step 2: The Armor (ZNR Poliplast + Mesh)

Once the boards are up, they are fragile. You must embed a fiberglass mesh into a layer of ZNR Poliplast. This creates an impact-resistant, flexible skin ready for paint or silicato.

Result: A building that stays cool in summer without running the AC 24/7.
